Just a fantastic job. I'm over the moon, aesthetically, with the final product, and Loreto did a great job of keeping in touch and dealing with any problems afterwards. I got my full flooring tiled as well as every wall in my bathroom, and the job is incredibly professional, visually attractive, went almost exactly on budget and -- considering how small my unit was and the fact that I couldn't move all of my furniture out -- took a remarkably small amount of time. Bathroom Remodel

On the recommendation of a friend, I hired another contractor to tile two bathrooms. The first contractor started the job three weeks late and, when he poured the shower basins, he used the wrong material and they were not sloped properly to allow for drainage. His errors cost me valuable time and materials. I then hired Loreto. They did the job when they promised (soon after I hired them), at the cost agreed upon. The bathrooms look great. His was not the cheapest quote - but sometimes quality costs more.

Called JBG for a quote received a response within 10 min, They had a estimator on site next day and began work 2 days later. Gut knows his stuff and is true to his word and committeemen. Kitchen and front hallway tile

JBG Tile did a great job of installing our 12x24" porcelain tile in our kitchen and front hallway. The space is open to the living and dining area so the tile abuts to the hardwood, several doorways, some carpeting, etc. It was important to me that we minimized the height difference between the different flooring types and not use the wood-style transition strips. In addition, given that our house is approximately 50 years old, the underlying subfloor was very uneven. We had chosen 12x24" tile which, as Loreto explained, would be more difficult to install over our uneven subfloor without some lipping occurring. Despite all of these factors making for not the easiest of jobs, we felt that the team did a great job in minimizing lipping and matching the height of the tile to the existing hardwood. To help match the height differences, they installed a stone transition (which looks quite nice in our space). After the initial installation day we noticed that a couple of the stone pieces were cracked/uneven but JBG was quick to send somebody over to fix them. Overall, we are happy with the results and may call on JBG again for our future bathroom renos.

Tile Job - Kitchen, powder room and main hallway

Loreto's and his staff were very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He came into our home and took the tile job, which wasn't done properly by a different contractor. He helped us with the cost of removing the materials from the demo (which were left in our garage by the previous contractor.) I really appreciated the fact that Loreto was always very prompt in answering any questions and that the job followed the timeline that he set out for us. I would highly recommend JBG! Tile Floor

Had the usual number of contractors in to give a quote on new floor tile. All the other contarctors wanted $$$ to rip up all concrete and tile. Turns out our tile was layed on concrete but also on top of barn board under the cement. Loretto's solution was not to dig it all up which would have required a whole new floor to be laid, but rather put tile on top of existing tile. No one else proposed this and no one took the time to see what was under the cement except Loretto. His solution was much less expensive and far less mess/time than anyone else we had out to quote. Work was done on time and full clean up. Would recommend Lorreto/Korel to all ! 5 stars !!

Repairing Tile Work

I was looking for a solution to kitchen and entryway tiles that were not laid properly by my contractor. Some of the tiles were high on one side and sink on the other side. My contractors solution was to add more grout and in a different colour. It was very noticeable. I required the expertise of an professional floor tiler. Kitchen Backsplashing

We hired Loreto to backsplash our kitchen wall this past weekend after finding JBG on this website. He provided us with a quote within 15 minutes of reviewing the wall area and tile. The type of slate mosaic tile that we originally purchased was not the greatest in quality and easily crumbled when Loreto removed it from the plastic wrap, and he recommended a better-quality tumbled marble, that was almost half the cost of our original slate, and the style he recommended (brick-like pattern) went perfectly with the layout of our wall. We had to cancel Loreto's work for the first day since we had to exchange the tile, but he arrived very punctually the next day to install the tile. Loreto had a wonderful attention to detail, not just laying the tiles anywhere, but I saw him assessing where to best place the different patterns, and the effect was marvelous! He was very clean in his work area, and cleaned up well after himself. We will definitely go to him for any other work in our home!

We moved into a twenty year old house that needed a great deal of work. The company owner came in and gave us a fare quote that he stuck by. (Although issues arose that most companies would have upped the price for.)He then gave us a time frame, was never late and came when he was suppose to. The work was exquisit and clean. Because of thier obvious experience the bathroom came out better than I expected. Thier honest opinion was much appriciated. Lastly thier workers were very curtious. Raise Floor and Tile Bathroom

My basement bathroom was butchered by another contractor. Loreto came by to finish things up with the tile. Even though nothing was square he made it all look awesome. I'm glad I took his suggestion to lay morter in the bathroom in order to bring the floor up level with the rest of the basement. It all turned out really nice. He even tore out the other tiles that were messed up by someone else. If you need tile work done don't even hesitate. Just call him up and it'll be a great decision. He cleaned up everything. Basement Tile Installation

JBG installed about 350 sq. ft. of 12" by 12" tile on a concrete floor that required considerable levelling. I asked Mike and partner to do a couple of extra small jobs - Mike responded cheerfully to the request and there was no charge. I wasn't home during the two-day installation but Mike kept me up to date by phone and email. He even sent a photo. I'm thrilled with the quality of work. By the way, Mike came to give the quote on a Wednesday and was available to do the job on the weekend. Fixed Ceramic Tile in Shower

We called JBG Tile after trying to do the work ourselves and making a mess, including chipping some good tiles. Mike contacted us right away and was able to get the job done very quickly. He replaced some of the tiles we damaged and installed a new marble sill & mosaic around a window in our shower. He did a great job blending the mosaic into the original surrounding tiles. The tile job looks very professional and you can not tell it was actually a repair. Mike was very flexible and always touched base with us during the work. Floor tile removal, dry pack and rectified porcelain tile install for 600 sq.ft.

We engaged JBG Tile to remove existing floor tile and install 24x24 rectified porcelain on part of our first floor. The contiguous tiled area included kitchen, laundry, foyer, powder room and corridors and has quite a few corners. Loreto advised us to lay dry pack (the floor was indeed uneven) for the best possible install of such a large format tile and we are happy that we took his advice. Extremely punctual throughout the project, did work as promised and on time, used the right and top quality materials and the end result is just fantastic. The installers (Domenic and Domenic) took their time and really paid attention to detail. The tiles are perfectly level with 1/16” grout lines. Loreto checked on-site daily and was very responsive when I needed him via phone or email. The final price was exactly as provided in the written quote. Great experience from start to finish, ease to work with, definitely recommend JBG Tile.

Flooring of 800 Sq ft 24x24

We contacted Loreto after our first tilers completely ruined our flooring job and the whole floor had to be redone. We connected with six new flooring companies before deciding on Loreto because of the absolute professionalism he demonstrated. We are so grateful we did. Joe, Loreto's expert tiler, Joe, did a fabulous job of laying out our 24x24 rectified porcelain tile. The job was flawless and I can say that with confidence because we are picky and literally went over each tile for lippage.... there was NONE.
